- Summary
- COI Synopis - In this programme, we look at what the sea can offer us in terms of energy, food and minerals. It also examines its awesome power and offers some solutions for safety at sea. A lack of understanding of fish behaviour has caused the near extinction of many species of fish. A remote-controlled underwater camera has now made it possible to film and study fish, with relative ease, in their own habitat. The knowledge thus gained can be utilized by the fishing industry, providing food for us and preventing over-fishing.
