Summary
NoS Summary - Child care by nursery nurses at a creche.
British Pathe synopsis: L/S of children emerging from a building being helped along by a woman dressed in a nurse’s uniform. "Them were the days", when jolly hours passed like minutes, in this creche." L/S of the playground, the children play "ring-a-ring-a-roses" with two nursery nurses. Two children play in a rocking boat. C/U of a large playpen on the grass with four or five children playing inside. "In a land where tears are few, and meal-times frequent." The children sit out of doors and eat al fresco at little tables and in high chairs. C/U of group of babies in bibs. C/U of nursery nurse feeding baby with a spoon. "- and the only interlude is a quiet "snooze" - with some tots fighting against it to the last." High angle shot of the nursery gardens with the children sleeping or standing up in their cots.
