- A clinical study module for nurse training intended to help nurses support the contraception needs of patients at different stages in their reproductive lives. Discusses factors that influence women’s choice of contraceptive methods, looking at the special needs of young people and peri-menopausal women. Shows a client family planning session were a range of contraceptives, including the hormonal intra-uterine system (IUS), is discussed. Shows the IUS and explains it indications and contra-indications. Also discusses advising clients about safe sex.
