Summary

British Pathe synopsis: "Nine years old - and a real "shadow" with the gloves - (Bart Lewis)." Young boy stands in the open air on a tarpaulin practising his boxing technique. A crowd of men and boys watch. "When "Bart" meets his friend, Leo Callighan, seven years old, there’s always some fun." The two boys meet in the ring and clasp gloves. They then have a sparring match. "Just 16 years together - and what footwork!" The two boys pose with their trainers and/or fathers.
