MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Derby - News in Colour. DESCRIPTION: In spite of objections by the Conservators - the Gypsies were there in force, but not one of their crystal balls could forecast the fortunes of this year’s Derby. But we can bring you all the thrills and the drama of an event which started nearly two hundred years ago and has gained a reputation as the most famous Classic of the Flat.
