Summary

In Japan, it seems that all roads lead to Tokyo, thriving capital city of almost 11 1/2 million people. With all those potential customers, British Week looked set to be a grand-scale success. It was the biggest exercise in self-advertisement and public relations that Britain has ever undertaken abroad.
