Baynes was shown in flying gear and filming from a plane in ‘GREENLAND EXPEDITION’ in Pathe News No.51/72 of September 1951. Baynes filmed the funeral of George VI from a camera position at Westminster Hall for ‘THE LAST JOURNEY’ in Pathe News No.52/15 of February 1952.
