- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Soccer: England V West Germany. DESCRIPTION: Sir Alf Ramsey’s team fail dismally against the German team at Wembley. With teutonic thoroughness, the Germans cut up the English who were unable, except for one goal, to make much impression. Final score Germany 3, England 1. This was the European Championship Quarter Finals. They meet again in Berlin very shortly. SHOTLIST: 1st leg of Quarter Final - GV 2 captains toss coin (left Bobby Moore, right Franz Beckenbauer). CU ball at centre spot. SV zoom back to GV Germany kick off & attack down left wing. SV German dribbling ball down left wing. CU pan ball goes to team mate.
