MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Running of the 128th Grand National - in Colour. DESCRIPTION: The 1972 Grand National - a big field of 42 runners take part in this gruelling annual event. Movietone follows the demanding race from the rails. The winner WELL TO DO closely followed in second place by GAY TRIP, with a tie for third place between BLACK SECRET and GENERAL SYMONS. SHOTLIST: Movietone Main Title. Zoom out crowd in stand at Aintree (wet). LS stand - people with umbrellas. MCU woman with transparent brolly. MLS bookies - taking bets under brollies. MS bookie. MCU girl in mini skirt. CU tic-tack man. CU girl in hot pants. CU Mrs Mirabelle Topham leaves house with Grand National presentation trophy. CU trophy. GV paddock.
