Career

Keith Medley was a freelance cameraman whose first credit is for ‘STOKE-ON-TRENT - STAN AT HOME AGAIN’ in British Movietone News No.1691A of November 1961. Medley supplied Movietone with a range of stories from the north-west and north Wales, and in January 1962 he became Movietone’s northern representative - appointed to succeed Jimmy Humphries [qv], who moved to London. Like Humphries, Medley was based in New Brighton, and his last credit is for ‘GO-KART CHAMPIONSHIP’ in No.2348 from June 1974.
