Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: News in Colour Grand National 1970. DESCRIPTION: The Grand National 1970 - and twenty eight runners face the toughest test of horse and jockey ever devised. Movietone follows the race from the rails, bringing the thrills and spills into vivid close-up. Four miles, 856 yards and 30 formidable jumps. Inevitably, there are casualties, and as they line up for home only seven of the original starters are still standing. Racing pundits said this year’s field lacked class - but the race was as dramatic and spectacular as ever. SHOTLIST: GV pan Aintree. GV zoom in Mrs Topham’s house.
