The Lightning, equipped with Firestreak guided missiles, is the first fully supersonic fighter for the RAF. SHOTLIST: MS Lightning (plane) same. CU Sir Dermot Boyle. CU nose of Lightning - bottle smashed. MS plane wheeled out. MS pilot gets in. MS RAF VIPs watch. Slip pan to CU pilot puts on helmet. Same. MS propeller starts. MS propeller turning.
