Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Risen From the Floods. DESCRIPTION: Only a short while ago, at the height of the Zambesi floods, it looked as it progress on the Kariba hydro-electric scheme must be seriously delayed. The coffer dam was flooded and disaster threatened. What a different picture Kariba presented 6 months later! A new road bridge was in course of completion, to replace the one which had been swept away by the torrent. And the Dam is rising from the floods. SHOTLIST: MS flood water rushes by (key).
