- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Home Guard Third Anniversary. DESCRIPTION: The third birthday of the Home Guard was marked by a march past in Hyde Park. His Majesty the King was on the saluting base and he afterwards toured demonstrations set up by the men. SHOTLIST: Cut story - GS of King with Sir James Grigg on stand with General Paget. GS of march past approaching camera. GS of troops passing stand, King taking salute. Procession out of camera, LS & MS. Demonstrating in Park the mortar. CU King with HG officer. At Buckingham Palace, HG entering forecourt, crowds look on. GS of present arms. King & Queen in forecourt speaking (silent) to retiring officer of Scots Guards & HG Officer. GS of slow march, & GS of changing of Guard. Finishes with sentry marching in & out of camera.
