- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Bizerta Cleaned Up. DESCRIPTION: The city of Bizerta has been a naval base and Axis stronghold which had been given a hard pounding from the air by the Allies. After its capture US and French Forces carried out a cleaning up operation. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Aerial shots of Bizerta & pan of same, showing lakes etc. GS Bizerta from balcony. Sergeant stands on balcony. GS city showing mosques etc. Pan of ruins, general. Grant tank through streets & American troops run past gap in wall individually to miss being sniped. British patrol through streets with Sten guns ‘at ready’. German prisoners elevated into camera being escorted by French troops carrying fixed bayonets. German officers leave building & enter car.
