Proceedings from the British parliament have been streamed live since February 2002. The service uses Windows Media Player or RealPlayer and offers live webcasts of the House of Commons, the House of Lords, Westminster Hall, and Select Committees. A schedule shows what sessions are coming up over the week, and which of these will be audio or video streamed. The material is then available from an on-demand archive going back to 1 July 2009. The site also streams a number of films commissioned by Parliament explaining its role and the way in which it works.
