- Summary
- COI synopsis: At a factory in Britain modern instruments are produced to play modern music. The science of electronics has led to a difference in method and sound from the classical guitars. The electric vibrations set up by the plucking of a string are received by a magnetic pick-up and transformed to sound through an amplifier. The strings are of steel and the neck of the guitar must be specially strong. More than 1,000 of these instruments are exported to South East Asia each year.
