Summary
NoS synopsis: "Seemingly like a knot on a branch, but in reality the home of the hummingbird." C/U of a hummingbird sitting in its funny nest. Closer shot of the bird. Another angle of the bird and nest - from behind. "The eggs are the daintiest things in birdland." C/U of the nest with two eggs visible. "Babies - three dozen make a handful." C/U of an outstretched hand with two tiny baby birds held inside it. C/U of the babies. "Honey, fresh from the flowers, is their food." C/U of hummingbird hovering over a flower. Another shot of a hummingbird feeding from a flower. MS of bird in nest being fed by a parent. "With 25 meals a day, the young grow until they are too large for the tiny nest" L/S of baby bird on a branch. C/U of the bird. "Trusting friends - " C/U of man holding a hand out, in his hand sits two baby birds and the parent bird comes and feeds the young whilst they are held in the hand. A baby bird sits on a little girls’ shoulder and a parent bird sits beside it.
