MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cowes Regatta Colour. DESCRIPTION: A minor heat-wave and a near flat calm slows down the races at this year’s Cowes Regatta. SHOTLIST: GV boats sailing about in race. MS boat sails past (No 5). GV yachts sailing. 3 MS No 3 pan past it, yachts go past at speed. Heath yacht ‘Morning Cloud’. MCU ditto Heath at helm. MS man on sailing surfboard. MCU ditto. 4 MS yachts No 2 sailing at speed, man on sailing surfboard, yacht No 5 with crew sitting on side to keep it upright, pan with No 4. GV yachts at sea. MS man working on sails. GV yachts at sea with spinnaker of boat No 3. MS man on sailing surfboard, sail has collapsed & he tries to put it back up, falls in water.
