The glamour of Derby Day, with its high fashion, frivolity and of course the racing is all presented. It’s the world’s toughest test for both horse and jockey over a 1 1/2 mile course ... and Movietone is there right from start to finish. SHOTLIST: Zoom out from fairground to GV Epsom grounds. GV grandstand. Zoom out to horse in paddock, pan from horse to Royal Family. MS Joe Mercer & Lester Piggott walk out. Pan jockey in paddock. MS No 17 Mill Reef. LS jockey mounts horse. MS No 14 Lombardo, zoom out horses on parade. MS Queen & Queen Mother. GV horses on course. MS Henry Cooper watching. MS No 3 Bourbon throws jockey. CU betting changes. GV horses start. Head on shot horses. BS horses away. Swing shot, horses past, Nos 13 & 2 out in front. Head on (slow motion) around the five furlong marker. Zoom out around Tattenham Corner.
