The first Movietone credit is for ‘Izacks,' but seems to be an error.

Career

Les Isaacs began his career as a cameraman for Pathe News. His credits include ‘IMMIGRANTS BEAT CLOCK’ in Issue No. 62/54 of July 1962 and an untitled story in Issue No.67/89 of November 1967.

He later did freelance work for Movietone, his first credit being for ‘INTERNATIONAL RESERVATIONS,' a story from London in British Movietone News No.2137A of May 1970. His next credit was in the camera team for ‘THE DERBY’ in No.2191A of June 1971, after which Isaacs worked on a small number of stories ending with ‘ACTION SPACE’ in No.2255A from August 1972.

He also worked as a cameraman for Roundabout (1962-1974) and Parade (1963-1973), technicolor cinemagazines made by Associated British Pathe at this time for the Central Office of Information. His only known credit for Roundabout is ‘HILLE FURNITURE’, No.87, released August 1969 and his earliest for Parade is ‘ANIMAL FOODS’, Parade No. 67, released April 1969.
