MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Gift of Life. DESCRIPTION: The kindness of King Hussein has just saved 5-year-old Lubna Zanayad’s life. She had a hole in the heart operation at Hammersmith Hospital. The Melrose Heart-Lung machine takes over the functions of the heart and lungs during surgery. Without it the operation would be impossible. Now Lubna can live like other children.
