- Summary
- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Everything for Export!. DESCRIPTION: The White Cliffs of Dover, symbol of the spirit which has preserved our island fortress through the centuries. These chips of chalk are being collected by the staff at Dover Town Hall, so it’s all official. The town receives so many requests for a handful of this heritage, that they’ve started a service to satisfy the demand. That valuable export market has recently been flooded with a lot of antique things we might regard as junk. Relics of a not-so-distant past gleaned from the dustbin and the scrap heap.
