MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: England’s Lucky Draw - European Nations Cup. DESCRIPTION: France kicked off and, led by veteran 32-year-old Raymond Kopa, gave England an early taste of what to expect. England came back with some useful work, but France was in command of this European Nations’ Tournament Match. After 8 minutes, centre-forward Kopa slipped the ball to the unmarked Goujon, who drove it home. In the second half came the incident from which England got the equaliser, the French goalie fumbled...Charnley raced in for the kill...and was NoSled over. The Danish referee decided to award a penalty. And Flowers made no mistake, all square for the return in Paris. SHOTLIST: Key scene. MLS France kick off and attack. MS policeman on stool.
