MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: New Zealand Grand Prix. DESCRIPTION: Away went the field of crack drivers, including Stirling Moss, Bruce McLaren and Jack Brabham, on their high speed journey of 150 miles, while a record crowd of 850,000 watched their progress. Stirling, in a Lotus, lead easily for the first three quarters of an hour, before his car broke a drive shaft. Jack Brabham, driving a Cooper, now shot into the lead.
