Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Home Again. DESCRIPTION: After the honeymoon voyage in the Caribbean, Princess Margaret and her husband received their first welcome back at Portsmouth. As the luggage was brought ashore, relatives of Britannia’s crew were waiting to go aboard to offer their welcome to husbands and sons. Meanwhile, British Railways brought the Princess and Tony to Waterloo. The arrival here was comparatively informal, but lots of people had collected along the route from the Station to Clarence House, and there were the warmest of greetings from them all the way.
