Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Wimbledon. DESCRIPTION: The Lawn Tennis Championships opened in quite a heat-wave. From opening day to the end, the meeting draws big crowds of spectators. Professionals too, like Kramer, with an eye to the future, perhaps. Crowds, and fashions, and stars of the court arrived: Neale Fraser, for instance. There was Mrs Fred Perry, and Pickard, chatting with Drobny. Spotting personalities is part of the fun.
