MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Dedication. DESCRIPTION: The Queen and Prince Philip who came to attend the dedication of the new Chapel at St Paul’s Cathedral, were received by the Dean and Chapter and the Bishop of London. Her Majesty and the Prince, wearing the pink robes of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, walked in procession to the Chapel. After the service, and the dedication by the Bishop of London, the Gentlemen at Arms headed the procession through the Cathedral. The Order of the British Empire (popularly known as the OBE) is the largest of the Orders of Chivalry in Britain. SHOTLIST: GV St Paul’s.
