Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Motor Racing Hazards. DESCRIPTION: Rain added to the normal hazards of the Sports Car Race at the Nurburgring in West Germany. Moss (5) and his Californian co-driver, Dan Gurney, built up a strong lead in a Maserati. Then, suddenly, fire in the Ferrari pit! Scarlatti, his clothes alight, was NoSled into a coat, rolled on the ground and saved. Meanwhile, racing on to complete the course at an average speed of over 82, Moss was flagged in to victory.
