- Summary
- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Gt. Britain V W Germany. DESCRIPTION: The hundred yards was one of Britain’s only two victories on the first day of this News of the World contest at White City. Radford broke the tape first in nine point seven seconds. The 3 Miles now, and number 4, Tulloh, in the lead. Right on his tail comes Muller who just pips him at the post, a fraction of a second ahead. The Mile was won by Brian Hewson who scored a convincing win. The second day and the 220.
