- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Motor Racing. DESCRIPTION: It was the German Grand Prix on the fantastic Avus circuit in Berlin. The race is run in two sections and involves over 300 miles of the fastest driving in the world. It was here that Jean Behra was killed in the Sports Car Grand Prix the day before. The race was a walk over for Ferraris, with Tony Brooks, Dan Gurney, and Phil Hill first, second and third. Britain’s Tony Brooks broke the lap record. SHOTLIST: LS cars at ready (key). GV pan start.
