- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Silver City 10th Anniversary. DESCRIPTION: The Mayor of Le Touquet in Northern France came to England to name the flagship of an Air Ferry Service. It happened during the French Celebration of the 14th of July, and it also marks the Tenth Anniversary of the First Flight of a Cross Channel car ferry. The Silver City flagship now crosses to Le Touquet, for a similar ceremony there. This time, the aircraft is to be named by the Mayor of Lydd, in Kent. On board the aircraft is the first car ever to use the service. SHOTLIST: MS Mayor ready to pull off tape covering sign on nose of aircraft. Closer as he pulls off tape. CU sign (14th July). LS Aircraft in flight. GV buildings through propeller. MS Mayors disembark from plane. LS crowd on roof of cafe. CU Mayor pulls off tape. Up to sign (Le Quatroze Juillet). MS car comes down ramp.
