Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Soho Fair. DESCRIPTION: Soho, London’s Continental Quarter, is an international square mile, best known for the variety of its restaurants and fine food. Not to mention the less inhibited forms on entertainment. Behind the glamour is the world of commerce, the Clothing Trade, for instance, and the film industry. Soho Square is an oasis amid the turmoil, and also the centre of the Annual Soho Fair. There was a spaghetti eating contest, and a procession, which set the tempo for this week of celebrations. The first Soho Fair was held 4 years ago. SHOTLIST: Elevated shot sign ‘Welcome to Soho’. MS Berwick Street. MS Boulangerie MS The Spice Bowl. CU following signs ‘Budapest’. CU ‘Ley-Ons’.
