Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Fight for Tb. SHOTLIST: Shots of the parade of 32 Mobile X-Ray Units along the street. MLS Lord Provost, Andrew Hood takes the salute. Mobile X-Ray Units along the road. Men playing the bag pipes. Lord Provost with nine year old Emma walking towards the camera. Emma performs the opening ceremony of the first X-Ray centre in George Square. Emma and Lord Provost enter the building. Lord Provost shaking hands outside with men carrying olympic type torches. Men with the torches running off. Sign Come on Glasgow, lets stamp out TB. Interior - Mr Maclay, Secretary of State for Scotland enters room. Mr Maclay putting on his jacket. Brooch being pinned on his jacket. Bag pipe players march along the street. Men in ceremonial robes walk in a line. Lord Provost and Mr Maclay etc. out of building. Mr Maclay standing in front of the X-Ray machine.
