Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Monte Carlo Rally. DESCRIPTION: Seventy cars starting from Sweden were ferried across to Denmark for the long journey South. The British contingent numbered 127 and the outright winner was a Sunbeam Talbot driven by a Norwegian. SHOTLIST: First shot of this story is a ferry boat from Sweden. Cars boarding and then disembarking at Denmark, and proceeding on their way in the icy conditions in this area. It is also snowing. Now some shots in the Alps. A difficult section with a sharp hairpin. The cars featured are: Jaguar VII, S-Talbot 90, Mercedes Benz, going through this section. Then a shot of a Dyna. Pan hard changing a wheel, followed by a Bristol 401 at the side of the road with a crumpled off-side wing.
