- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Territorials in Big Drop. DESCRIPTION: In Norfolk, the biggest airborne Territorial exercise in Britain since the end of the war. About twelve hundred officers and men of the 44th Parachute Brigade (TA) were dropped from C-119 boxcars. The exercise coincided with the anniversary of the Battle of Arnhem. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Parachute dropping. Various scenes of parachutes descending to ground. C-119, Flying Box cars of US Air Force used for the transport planes. Various shots of same in flight. Long view of hundreds of parachutes descending. Heavy equipment being dropped, 25 pounders, 6 pounder anti-tank guns and various vehicles. One piece of machinery crashes to earth as parachute does not open. Men landing in field. Walking through smoke screen.
