Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Duke’s Return. DESCRIPTION: Prince Charles was at London Airport to welcome home father, as the Duke of Edinburgh returned now his sea going command has come to an end. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Duke alighting from Viking. Prince Charles holding ‘nanny’s’ hand walks across aerodrome. Plane taxies standstill. Prince Charles walks across mounts steps. Cut-in Royal Standard on plane. Prince Charles enters plane holding father’s hand. Nearly falls off last steps onto ground. Father holds him securely. Duke walks over to car, gets into drivers seat, Prince Charles next to him, drives off.
