MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Visitors From Denmark. DESCRIPTION: When the King and Queen of Denmark arrived at Dover, they were welcomed by the Duke of Edinburgh. At Victoria, King Frederick and Queen Ingrid were received by the King and Queen. Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret were also there, together with other members of the Royal Family, waiting to greet the Danish Royal visitors before they drove in procession to Buckingham Palace. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. CU Danish Coat of Arms. Cross-channel steamer Kronprincess Ingrid approaches quay. Cut-ins King Frederick & Queen Ingrid of Denmark waving from rail of ship, two shots. They disembark, shake hands with Service officials. King inspects the Buffs. Queen Ingrid chats (silent) with Mayor of Dover. Councillor Fish. Train, almost covered by steam, pulls out of Dover Station. Elevated MS reception committee on Victoria Station, with King George & Queen Elizabeth waiting as train draws into station. MS Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret. Danish couple alight, King George kisses Queen Ingrid, shakes hands with King Frederick, exchange of courtesies with Princesses & Danish royal couple. Outside station. SCU the two Kings saluting during National Anthems (silent). King Frederick inspects Guard of Honour. Elevated GV of royal procession just outside Victoria Station. Crowds cheering. Into camera - procession down Mall, in first carriage, the two Kings, Duke of Edinburgh & Duke of Gloucester. 2nd carriage - two Queens & Princesses. Procession round QV Memorial. SCU first carriage, pans round, then pans back to 2nd carriage, pans round & out of camera into palace forecourt. Cut-in Prince Charles & Princess Anne held by their nannies looking out of window at Buckingham Palace. Alight from carriage in courtyard of palace. Group of two Kings, two Queens, in background are the Princesses.
