MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Turpin Down But Wins. DESCRIPTION: At the Butts Stadium, Coventry, British and European Middleweight Champion Randolph Turpin met Jan de Bruin of Holland. He was put down in the second round by the Dutchman but went on to win by a knock out in the sixth round. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Randolph Turpin enters ring & shakes hands with Jan de Bruin. Various shots during the first round, Turpin punishing de Bruin. De Bruin down on canvas. Shots of them sparring. De Bruin knocks Turpin down, he gets up again & really punishes de Bruin, almost slaughter. Knocks him out in 6th round. The two embraced. SCU de Bruin & wife.
