MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: FA Cup - 6th Round. DESCRIPTION: SUNDERLAND V WOLVES -Sunderland, at home to Wolves, scored first through Davis, an equaliser by Walker ended the day’s scoring to send Sunderland to Wolverhampton for the re-play. (67 secs). BLACKPOOL V FULHAM - Bacuzzi, Fulham’s right back, fisted away a shot by Johnston of Blackpool in the first four minutes and the resulting penalty goal put Fulham out of the cup. (74 secs). BIRMINGHAM V MANCHESTER UNITED - Birmingham gave Manchester a shock from which they never recovered and Birmingham go on to the Semi-Final. (68 secs) SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. SCU football. Sunderland v Wolves, at Sunderland, crowds. Elevated GV Sunderland (striped shirts) kicked off. Sunderland attack, scrummage around goal & Davis scores. Crowds cheering. Wolves attack, and score goal by Walker. Sunderland attack hard, play around Wolves goal, Sunderland almost scoring. Blackpool v. Fulham. Bloomfield Road, Blackpool. Crowd shots, with people in fancy dress walking round perimeter of pitch. Duck waddles across pitch. Blackpool kicked off, Fulham, white shirts. Elevated MS play around Fulham goal, ball going straight for net, is punched out by Bacuzzi, the right back. Into camera, penalty kick, Brown scores with same. Various shots of hail-storming down on crowds & players, rather dark. Play around goalmouth, shows pitch like a swamp. Stan Matthews being attacked by Fulham players, several shots of same. Birmingham City v. Manchester United. Birmingham. Crowd shots. Kick off, ball past down wing, advance on United goal & score. Higgins scored. Birmingham attack hard, slight casualties caused. Various general play.
