Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: African Domain of Ruth Williams. DESCRIPTION: Serowe is the new home of Ruth Williams, the London typist, who married Seretse Khama. Here we see the type of life she will have to expect. Tshekedi Khama, the Regent of the Bamangwato Tribe, talks with an Administrative Adviser. After touring the Domain we show you the burial place of previous rulers of the Tribe. SHOTLIST: GVs of the surrounding countryside. SCU Seretse Khama. Trucking shot through the bush. GV of countryside with house set in centre. Seretse’s car through main street. GV of the veldt. Thorns are placed around the modern building to protect same. Village of mud huts - Serowe.
