MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Second Test Match. England V Australia. DESCRIPTION: Australia got off to a bad start in the second Test at Lord’s but managed an innings of 350. England faired less better and narrowly avoided the follow on. SHOTLIST: KS Queues outside Lord’s. SCU sign reading ‘Lord’s’. Queues past camera, going into Lord’s. Crowds, small groups by Harris Gardens. GV crowds around pitch, good scene. Stumps being put in. Norman Yardley and Don Bradman inspect pitch, prod same. Yardley tosses coin, Bradman wins. LS play with crowds in fore. Slow motion - Coxon bowls. MS Alec Bedser bowls Bradman, Len Hutton catches ball. Bradman walks off. MS Arthur Morris (left hander) batting, hits four. Slow motion Bedser bowling. Keith Miller skies ball, Hutton runs after same but miss. MS Miller hit on leg with ball. Miller dances about with pain. Several shots of him in pain.
