MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Wavell’s Daughter Weds. DESCRIPTION: Lord Wavell’s daughter, Felicity, married Captain Peter Longmore in New Delhi. There was Viceregal pageantry and a reception in the grounds of the Viceroy’s House. SHOTLIST: KS LS horse drawn coach arriving at Church of Redemption. Coach drawing to a standstill. Coachmen dismount, GV of the above church. Metropolitan stands on steps of church, SCU of him. GV entrance of church. Captain Peter Longmore and his bride exit, towards camera. Pose on steps. CU of Longmore and Felicity Wavell. Guests arrive at Viceregal House, GV dome of Viceregal House, Lord and Lady Wavell alight from open carriage. Indian Lancers salute, ride off, cut-in of band playing in grounds of the above, guests walking about the grounds, includes members of Indian Interim Government. SCU bride groom walking through the grounds.
