MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: William Joyce Hanged. DESCRIPTION: William Joyce, Lord Haw Haw, is hanged at Wandsworth Gaol. SHOTLIST: KS Library - Radio set. Joyce with military escort takes exercise in field, this is somewhere in Europe, several shots. CU Joyce. Walks out of camera. Crowds gathered outside Wandsworth prison, reading notice stating that he was to be hanged. LS Notice. CU various radio sets over which is Joyce’s voice saying "ruthlessly killing thousands of our own countrymen etc." Crowds outside prison, watch police hang up notice proclaiming that Joyce has been hanged. LS & CU of proclamation.
