- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Repairing Aintree Racecourse. DESCRIPTION: The Grand National Course at Aintree was used for parking army vehicles during the war. Now the task is in hand to prepare for next year’s race. SHOTLIST: KS GV racecourse, with hundreds of army lorries parked on same. MS stables, "Barber Shop" painted on door of one. Various shots of jumps, Valentine’s and Becher’s being repaired, trimmed etc. by experts. GV straight, shows winning post and rails being repaired and painted.
