Summary

The troops pulled out. High Commissioner Sir Humphrey Trevelyan inspected his last guard of honour before leaving the trouble spot for good. Royal Marine Commandos were the last military men to be air-lifted out. South Arabia was now part of the People’s Republic of South Yemen.
