Summary
Striking pictures of men at work on one of the hardest jobs in the world - under-river tunnelling. They are building the tunnel which will ease London’s through traffic problems by providing a road link between Essex and Kent. They work in an air pressure of nearly two atmospheres - this is believed to be the first film made of a compressed-air job of such magnitude.
