- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: British Pavilion Opened. DESCRIPTION: The British Pavilion is opened at the New York World’s Fair. SHOTLIST: Flags flutter from the British Pavilion when Sir Ronald Lindsay, after a short speech, declares the Pavilion opened. Then Lady Lindsay plants an English oak sapling. Sir Louis Beale hands her an urn of English earth which she sprinkles around the plant. Lily Pons is present.
