Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Funeral of Queen Maud of Norway. DESCRIPTION: The body of Queen Maud is returned to Norway. SHOTLIST: The body of Queen Maud of Norway leaves the chapel at Marlborough House for its last journey to Norway. Behind the gun-carriage, which is escorted by the Grenadier Guards, ride King Haakon, Prince Olaf, King George VI, King George of Greece & the Duke of Kent. At Portsmouth, the coffin is taken aboard the "Royal Oak" and the King of Norway and Prince Olaf go aboard, but the sailing is delayed on account of the weather.
