DESCRIPTION: The beautiful city of Athens was the appropriate and regal setting for the Royal wedding of the year: Princess Sophia of Greece married Juan Carlos, son of the pretender to the Spanish throne. Here, the bride arrives at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral, for the second of the two ceremonies, in which King Paul, the bride’s father, took an intimate part. During the morning, the Royal couple had been married in the rites of the Catholic Church. SHOTLIST: GV Athens. Procession to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Interior shots of the ceremony.
